Facts about Mrs. Eddy...
I grew up in Southeast Texas and received my degree in Elementary Education from the University of Saint Thomas in Houston. After graduating, I taught First Grade for four years before deciding to start a family. My husband, Kyle, and I have two daughters - Hannah (22) and Emma (18). Hannah is at West Texas A&M University studying Equine Industry and Business and Emma is a freshman at the University of Northern Colorado studying Elementary Education. We also have four cats, a dog named Vinny, and three horses! Anyone want to adopt a pet from us?????? Just kidding, maybe :)
After my daughter, Hannah, was born, I was a Substitute Teacher, Administrative Consultant, and Primary Team Leader for three years at my former school. Shortly after we moved to Fort Collins in 2004, I began teaching Pre-Kindergarten. I loved it so much that I taught there for nine years! In the meantime, I went back to school and received my Master's Degree in Education from Lesley University with a focus in Arts Integration. I spent one year working as a Paraprofessional at Bethke in Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade. This is my ninth year to teach Kindergarten and I love it!!! This will be my 26th year of teaching and I've loved every minute of it!!!!
While I love teaching my students, I also love to spend time with my family! We love to visit Texas, walk around Old Town Fort Collins, eat ice cream, go "glamping" in our camper, sit on the front porch, etc...
